Какой тут нужен предлог?
Перед транспортными средствами, о которых по-русски можно сказать «на борту», употребляется предлог «on», например:
on the train – на поезде;
on the bus – на автобусе;
on the plane – на самолете;
on the boat – на лодке.
Это, как правило, достаточно «большие» транспортные средства. Просто включите свое воображение: если вы можете там свободно встать и пройтись, то смело используйте предлог «on»!
