Every person has a large and small Homeland. The big Homeland for me is Russia, and the small Homeland is the city of Almetyevsk.

Each city has its own symbols, and Almetyevsk is no exception. Almetyevsk has its own flag and coat of arms. The coat of arms depicts an oil fountain and a tower.

Our city is already 69 years old. Throughout the time Almetyevsk has flourished and developed. Thanks to builders and oilmen, new buildings appeared, the streets became wider, underground passages were built.

Our city is multinational, here live: Russians, Tatars, Udmurts, Chuvash, etc.

Every city has a main street, and ours is Lenin Street. There is a higher educational institution for young people - Almetyevsk State Oil Institute. Future oil workers are trained here.

This is Lenin Square, where the Drama Theater is located. Previously, it was called the House of technology "Neftyanik". Now famous artists work here. I like to attend performances and concerts.

Monument to oil pioneers The installation of a monument to oil pioneers was dedicated to the extraction of 2 billion tons of "black gold", and was organized in 1984.

On weekends, children come with their parents to the Park of Culture and Recreation. There are many attractions in the park, there is a zoo. There are strange trees and shrubs that do not grow in our region.

Here we see a fifteen-storey beautiful building. This is the place where oil executives work. They hold various meetings and conferences there.

This is our city lake. In recent years, it has become very beautiful around the lake. For urban residents, this is a favorite vacation spot.
