The origins of Halloween celebrations in England.
The origins of the celebration of Halloween in England and other countries originated in the fifth century BC. The founders of this tradition were the ancient Celts. Since the main occupation of the Irish settlements at that time was farming, the night from October 31 to November 1 symbolized the end of the old and the beginning of the new year.
