WHAT ARE VERBS?
A verb is a "doing" word. A verb can express: A physical action (e.g., to swim, to write, to climb).
She is writing the book.
A mental action (e.g., to think, to guess, to consider).
I think that it was a good decision!
A state of being (e.g., to be, to exist, to appear).
I am at home.

TYPES OF VERB
Main Verbs : He drives a car
Dogs usually chase cats
Auxiliary Verbs : He have already read this movie
The house will be built
Linking Verbs : She is a doctor
Larry looks happy
Modal Verbs : She can drive. (ability)//I must go. (strong necessity)//You should call him. (advice)

TENSES OF VERB

Perfect Tense
Present Perfect: I have seen it.
(Present tense of to have plus participle. Action is completed with respect to the present.)

Past Perfect: I had seen it.
(Past tense of to have plus participle. Action is completed with respect to the past.)

Future Perfect: I will have seen it.
(Future tense of to have plus participle. Action is completed with respect to the future.)

Perfect-Progressive Tense
We use the Present Perfect Continuous to show that something started in the past and has continued up until now.
•They have been talking for the last hour.
•She has been working at that company for three years
