The actuality of the problem :

The whole life of N.G.Grigoriev was devoted to disinterested service to his people. He could not imagine his life without people and homeland. The work of his life was to treat sick people , teach future doctors to save other people’s lives. This man lived for science and in order to help other people. Nikolay Grigorievich wanted to have more educated people who can help sick people. In 1989 Grigoriev defended his doctoral dissertation. He discovered in the wall of the gallbladder a nerve cell that histologists of the country and the world were looking for a long time.

The aim of our research is to learn and find out more about the great man of the Chuvash people – Grigoriev N.G.
The tasks of our research are
1. to find archival materials in the rural library and to collect materials about the honored doctor.
2. to increase level of knowledge on the mastery of language
3. to form a society respectful attitude to work and working people.
4. to familiarize with the achievements of the honored doctor.
5. to increase the interest to working professions.

The methods of investigations are:
Studying of literary resources
Analysis and comparison of information
Systematization and processing of information

Nikolay Grigorievich Grigoriev was born on December 21, 1933 in the Chuvash peasant family in the village of Kalikovo, Kanashsky district of Chuvashia.

In 1952 Nikolay Grigorievich graduated from Yanglichskaya Secondary school and entered the Kazan Medical Institute.
In 1958 he graduated from the medical faculty of the Institute.

In 1965 Nikolay Grigorievich was invited to work to Kazan as an assistant at the Department of Surgery at the Vishnevsky Clinic. In 1969 he defended his scientific work. After that Grigoriev was awarded the degree of candidate of medical sciences. Then he started his doctoral dissertation.

In 1970 Nikolay Grigorievich Grigoriev started to work as the Chief surgeon in the Ministry of Health of Chuvashia .

To continue his surgical work, he chose the surgical department of the Republican Hospital.
In a short time surgical departments were organized in all districts of Chuvashia.

In 1979 Nikolay Grigorievich Grigoriev was appointed the Minister of Health of Chuvashia.

He contributed to the creation of the MNTK "Eye Microsurgery" in Cheboksary, the opening of the emergency hospital for 600 beds with an obstetric building for 100 beds, the Republican Hospital for children with a polyclinic, the city dental and dental clinics for children, the obstetric building at the Republican Hospital; the reconstruction of the national Oncology center…

From 1989 N.G.Grigoriev is a doctor of Medical Sciences.

Conclusion
Having studied the literature, we can conclude that Nikolay Grigorievich Grigoriev is one of those outstanding personalities whose achievements remain in the memory of the people. For decades and centuries, his good deeds will live in the memory of people. Thanks to N. G. Grigoriev, the morbidity and mortality of the population in Chuvashia decreased. Nikolay Grigoriev is an excellent doctor, has excellent medical abilities, is one of the best surgeons in our country, has such qualities as honesty, courage and bravery. And we are proud of this person.

Practical significance of the work
The collected material can be used in History, English lessons, classroom hours, and placed in the school museum.
