CHILDREN AND PARENTS
Parents, both in Russia and in the UK, love their children very much and try to spend as much time with them as possible.
Of course, there are differences in education. What we are going to talk about now.
INDEPENDENCE
_________________________________________
Parents teach their kids to be independent patiently, but persistently.
In England, children at the age of 1 year a child can do a lot on their own. In Russia, this happens a couple of years later.
During this period, both in the UK and in Russia, the child begins to eat independently, tries to dress and put on shoes.
DAILY ROUTINE
-----------------------------------------------------------------
--------
As for British, children go to bed at 7:00 - 7:30 PM.
As for Russians, children go to bed latterly, because they are busy with different sections. That is why they go to bed at 9:00 PM.
GAMES
In the UK, parents let their children play as they please without fear that the child may get dirty.
Fun in Russia often causes a restrained reaction from Russian father`s and mother`s. And sometimes in the form of a scandal.
In England, parents tell their children about etiquette from early childhood. Children from early childhood hear from their parents the rules of behavior, speech etiquette, and etiquette of behavior with people.
In Russia, not everyone listens to the rules of etiquette. But nevertheless, children understand the importance of the rules of behavior and try to follow them.
ETIQUETTE
-In England, children most often go to private kindergartens.
-In Russia, there is always a certain number of educators per group, and in Britain they are appointed according to the number of children.
NURSERY SCHOOL
ADDITIONAL EDUCATION
In Russia, children attend circles and sections. In the UK, this practice is not common, since additional education is included in the preschool program, the kids get all the knowledge and skills there.
The study of a foreign language in educational standards is planned for the age period, starting from 5 years
SCHOOL
In Russia, a child goes to first grade when he is seven years old. If the parents decide that the child is ready for school. then they can send him at 6 years old.
In the UK, kids start school a little earlier. Until the age of 5, children go to kindergarten.
In conclusion, we can say that in the upbringing of England and Russia, they differ in character. The upbringing of children in Russia lags behind that in other countries.
