1) He said, «I go to bed». -----> He said (that) he went to bed.
2) She said, «I made a cake».  She said (that) she had made a cake.
3) They said, «We were playing football».--> They said (that) they had been playing football.

Richard said, «I went to my parents yesterday».
Richard said (that) he had gone to his parents the day before.

Lucy says, «I have good health».  (Present Simple)
Lucy says that she has good health.


2) Lucy said, «I have good health».  (Past simple)
Lucy said that she had good health.

 Indirect Questions

1. Общие вопросы (Yes/No Questions)
Глаголы do, does, did при образовании косвенных вопросов не используются.
He asked, “Do you

He asked if I wanted to dance.
Can – could
Will – would
Must – had to

2. Специальные вопросы (Wh- Questions)
личные и притяжательные местоимения заменяются по смыслу
He asks me, “Do you like chocolate?” -> He asks me if I like chocolate.
