The second grade is set for academic diligence, a figure from 1 to 5. For good grades for diligence, the student should be active in the lesson: ask questions, join discussions, even criticize the teacher’s point of view.
1 - The student works especially hard, shows interest in learning and expresses a leadership position.
2 - Very good work in class. The child takes full advantage of his abilities.
3 - Satisfactory. The student meets the requirements, but in the lesson behaves passively.
4 - The child does not take the initiative. He does the work only if he is asked and helped.
5 - Very bad, the student does not show interest in learning, does not fit the deadlines or does not do the work at all.
In the alphabetic system, the letters "A", "B", "C" and "D" denote passing points in descending order. The role of unsatisfactory evaluation is performed by “E”, but usually “F”. This is a deuce. The first is in alphabetical order, but the second is a clear abbreviation of “fail”, which makes it more logical.
“D” is satisfactory (3);
“C” is enough (3);
“B” is good (4);
“A” is very good (5);
“A +” is excellent (5+).
