Nature monument of regional significance "Relict pine Edge "

This amazing pine grows on the lands of the State Forestry Fund in the Duvan forestry, near the "Edge" tract, a kilometer from the Birsk-Tastuba-Satka road and at the same distance from the border with the Karaidel district.

One of the oldest preserved pine trees on the Ufa plateau.
Pine has scientific (dendrochronological), environmental and historical and cultural significance.

The approximate age is about 200-300 years. The circumference at the base of the trunk is 4 m 68 cm, the height is about 15-18 m

At a height of 10-12 m there are two artificial sides, to which the currently overgrown ladders are cut. This bortevoe tree testifies that in the recent past, before the destruction of old-growth forests on the Ufa plateau, there was bortnichestvo in this region.

Prohibition
felling or cutting of a protected tree, as well as logging in the adjacent territory;
entry to the protected area by tractors, motor vehicles;
violation or removal of forest litter;
any activity that may lead to deterioration of the growing conditions of the protected tree.
